Our Company was founded by entrepreneurs in 2013 who have run a successful business in Tacoma for the past 30 years. These coworking spaces were born from their dream of an ecosystem of professionals working alongside each other creating an environment where entrepreneurs can help each other to grow and cultivate their businesses. An environment our founders wish they had in Tacoma when they started their business over 30 years ago.

The Pioneer Collective brings beautiful, functional workspace to the 253. Our Downtown Tacoma coworking space offers more than 12,000 square feet of intentionally designed shared workspace. Based out of the Center for Urban Waters on the Tideflats of Tacoma, our incubator admits companies that can contribute to innovation and economic growth in the South Sound community. Our mission is to extend the time a company has to grow and refine its product/service by reducing a company’s expenses. Things like rent, internet access, an expert consultant, or a conference room to host a large meeting are difficult expenses for a young company to balance. By letting them invest that money instead into hiring, product development, and expanding their business we give them a greater chance at success.
